It is important to know who you are doing business with. Here are some pictures and my bio. Thank you so much for allowing me to serve you.
I am the oldest of 2 children born to Riley and Mary Hood. My sister Karen and I grew up together crisscrossing the country. We always had lots of cousins to play with and we visited them often until my father's job took us to Oakland CA. We got to see a lot of things during our crossing; Yellow stone Park, Mount Rush more and Willie Mays at Candlestick stands out in my mind even to this day. We started on the East Coast both born in Charlotte N.C. .My father's family from Sumter S.C. and my mother from Gastonia N.C. My father the oldest of nine and my mother the baby of three. My fathers entrepreneurial spirit, I get it honest, helped him start his own aircraft parts business in the early 60’s. I spent many a summer sweeping warehouse floors and doing Inventory. I hated it then, but I would not change it for anything. My father taught me the value of hard work and dedication and something worth doing is worth doing well. We moved back to S.C. and lived in Columbia. Those days were Great. We spent a lot of time at Myrtle Beach and with our cousins in Sumter and Gastonia. The freight bills were piling up as my father was buying a lot of material from Robins AFB GA., he decided to move to Warner Robins. My mom gave us that drive to succeed too. As an RN she always worked different shifts and had all kind of stories. She taught us how to cook and clean house and work in the yard. She always had us in some kind of activity when we were growing up Dance, baseball, and football to name a few. We were also involved in church activities with sleepovers and projects to help others in our neighborhood. My sister was in girl scouts, for many years , they would have meetings at our house. As a teenager growing up in Georgia I remember many days riding bikes, catching critters in the woods near our home and sneaking under the fence to swim in old man Foster's pond. We had a blast.
At Warner Robins High I played football and was on the drill team in ROTC. With a scholarship to attend Georgia Military College I was off to Milledgeville GA. From There I took a reserve commission as an Engineer Officer in the Georgia National Guard. During my Officers basic course I was in the top 10% of my Class and was offered a active duty position in the 101st
Airborne at Ft. Campbell KY., were I finished my service in 1984. I returned Home to work with my Father in our Family Business. I skipped some family stuff there expounding on my carrier. I was married for a brief two years in which time my son Jason was born in 1980. What a treat he is. It was hard being away from him in KY. but we made up a lot of time when I came home. On my return I met my second wife Ronda and we were married in 86. She was a delight to all. She helped us develop our family business accounting and set up our offices to work well. Jason came to lived with us for four years during this time, it was an awesome time. Just before we were married though Ronda's kidneys failed and after eights years and several attempts at kidney transplants, Ronda when home to the Lord. It was very hard but God had already planned to send me an Angel to help me along. Her name is Barbara. In November after Ronda had passed, I meet a beautiful redheaded Irish woman at church, and I just could not keep from thinking about her. Then she called me, well I didn't know it was her. The woman on the phone said she had my name and number from a directory as a point of contact. I agreed to meet with her. Well to my surprise it was the cute redhead. Turns out I knew her brother, he lived right down the street from me and Ronda. Wow. Well to make a long story short we were married the next October. Thank God for my Sweet Angel, as I refer to her the love of my life Barbara.
